Qaatra sul Bha'esh

Body:
Averaged sized for a Kaleesh, Qaatra is around 5'5 tall. Her skin is a dull terracotta red, and her eyes are a honey gold tone. Qaatra has thick rows of curled dusty black shoulder-length hair that she ties back into a short ponytail. While her frame is relatively sturdy, though because her diet can be irregular, this has started to take a toll on her, as (accompanied by general aging) she has lost some muscle and tissue mass over the years, and sometimes her wounds take longer to recover from.

Clothing:
Qaatra wears whatever clothing she can get hold of. She favours clothes that last long, and are practical. Unable to wear shoes, Qaatra protects her feet by wrapping them in bindings that are replaced whenever they break. While she has some ability to repair her clothes from general wear and tear, whenever her clothes sustain significant damage and she is unable to repair them, she discards them and acquires new ones. Being constantly on the move means that Qaatra has to travel light, and she usually only has one other change of clothes aside from those that she wears. The only item of clothing that Qaatra refuses to discard is her traditional mask, although it identifies her almost immediately. She refuses to disguise it, whether through temporary inks or dirtying it, though she does try to maintain a low profile by going to places where other Kaleesh frequent, whether mercenaries or travellers, and wearing a hood to assist in self-concealment.

In her youth Qaatra was an incredibly shy and awkward youngling, and being Sargon's Padawan was perceived as a poor choice by some other Jedi Knights, as during some circumstances when other Jedi Knights looked after her in the absence of Sargon, they noticed that the Kaleesh was a bright and thoughtful student, who lacked confidence when interacting with other Padawans. A brief period of three years was spent under a different Jedi Master when Sargon was killed on a mission during the Trade Federation's invasion of Naboo. The death of her master Sargon would have emotionally crippled her had it not been for the efforts of Zuri Kha, who worked tirelessly to undo most of the damage that the death had on Qaatra. Under Zuri Kha's patient guidance and supportive backing, Qaatra came out of her shell and eventually undertook the trials in 24BBY.

After becoming a Jedi Knight herself, Qaatra grew in confidence during her rotations in the Exploration Corps, though she sometimes struggled to voice her own opinions and sometimes wilted when facing aggression. With the encouragement of her new circle of friends in the Corps, Qaatra became more outgoing, though the ensuing Clone Wars made her anxious to see the conflict over as the war dragged out. With the activation of Order 66, the loss of many of Qaatra's friends greatly saddened her, and she became more pensive and cautious as she adapted to life on the run along with Pella.

Life as a fugitive impressed upon Qaatra the importance of strategizing and careful planning. Though she prioritised keeping a low profile, at times Qaatra felt enraged by injustices though she felt powerless to do anything significant to help others. She would help out in small ways, interacting through kind gestures and actions, favouring to examine the situation rather than blindly helping everyone she could. It was a strategy that kept her safe and undetected during her stay in Garel City on Garel. This developed into a desire to avoid fighting where possible, and while Qaatra could kill in self defence, she would actively seek not to do so because she struggles with intense feelings of guilt whenever she had to end a life.

Facts:

- Qaatra knows all seven of the Lightsaber combat forms. When her lightsaber was assembled she preferred to use the variant of Form V known as Djem So.

- The Djem So variant of Form V was also based on defending with solid blocks and parries, then immediately countering with strong counterattacks and ripostes, and was geared toward, and created for lightsaber to lightsaber combat, but also still reasonably useful for blast deflection.

- While Qaatra does know some force powers, she favours not using them, as they would draw too much attention to herself. She does make use of less powerful abilities such as using Force Persuasion over the Mind Trick in some circumstances, though this does not mean she is a badly trained, but instead out of regular practice.

- Qaatra is left handed.
